#5 Goes to the Gamers
Ah, gamers…They are life-long learners too, right? When you take into account the fact that each time you learn a new game whether it be role-playing, videogames, or the good ol’ fashioned board game you are learning lots of new stuff by using your imagination, strengthening hand & eye coordination, as well as making calculations (math skills) and socialization, which falls under “play” from the 7 ½ Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners. So therefore, the *interesting* images I found on Flickr are inspired by the board game called Settlers of Catan and for those of you who are not hip to the extremely addictive civilization game, perhaps the following photos will entice you to start.

So awesome!! My husband is a huge gamer and turned myself and our best friends into partial (we do have our limits) gamers as well. We love Settlers but our current favorite is Union Pacific.
And I love the cake. So creative!
